The Many Gifts at the Cultural Arts Center

I have been so blessed to be a part of a wonderful program that saved my sanity and gave me a fantastic foundation to understand theatre, and how to approach Musical Theatre. It was a place to show me how much hard work and effort was needed to bring a story to life. I was blessed to have a supportive class all working furiously to "make it" in the big world. The stage was beautiful and I will never forget the night of our final performance, senior year...many of us in tears as we performed on stage, knowing how much we loved what we loved, and knowing this was a wonderful place that gave us the tools that we needed to be successful.

I went on to receive a BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University and now I am currently working on my Masters in Human Resources Management. Big change, I know. However I found a way continue to sing professionally, and still make a good living doing what I love in my new profession- Human Resources. I have a wonderful husband, and we have a beautiful life together in our "Money Pit" home.

Everyone has their own definition of what "Success" means to them. Initially, I thought success was about "making it" on Broadway. Now this meaning has changed significatly for me. I beleive if you can have a life of personal serenity and enjoy making a contribution each and every day doing what you love, and you are happy, in my eyes, this is success...
